Rehome your unwanted medical aids
MedEquip is an organisation which works with the NHS and community partners to provide medical aids. Once equipment is no longer needed, it risks ending up in landfill or cluttering up homes and storage space.
This initiative ensures equipment is reused where possible, helping to save resources and the environment. Any equipment that cannot be reused is stripped of usable parts before the materials are sent to specialist recycling facilities.
Accepted equipment include crutches, trolley walkers, commodes and much more!
You can take items to Clacton Recycling Centre – just book a slot for your visit and speak to a member of staff on arrival.
MedEquip can also collect unwanted medical items from your home. Visit the MedEquip website for full details.
