We have recently partnered with MedEquip, so you can now drop off unwanted medical aids at Clacton Recycling Centre. The items are then cleaned, refurbished, tested and re-homed to help others.
Working with our colleagues in Essex Libraries, we’ve put together a collection of e-books and e-audiobooks for Essex residents to learn more about waste, recycling, and living a more sustainable lifestyle.
It’s estimated that each Essex home has about £1,200 worth of clothes lying forgotten or unworn. With 11 million items of clothing sent to landfill every week in the UK alone, that’s a lot of waste!
